- On 26 April 1986, the nuclear
Reactor in chernobyl,russia exploded. resulting in severe release of
radioactive materials into the environment.
- The explosion was more severe
than the atomic bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki. Over 3,36,000 people
were evacuated from this area.
- Sarapova's parents were
living 80 miles away from chernobyl.
- Because of this explosion,they
moved to Nyagan which is in the siberian region of Russia.
- Sarapova was born here in Nyagan on
19,April 1987.
- During her childhood, her
parents tried everything on her, from dancing, music, tennis, athletics.
- They discovered at the age
of four, that tennis is her favourite.
- At the age of six,her father
took her to a tennis clinic conducted by Martina Navratilova.

of sarapova, Navratilova told her father that she has talents but needs

they emigrated to Flora.Actually maria and her father left Russia to
USA with just $1000 in their hand.

In this image, I am NOT seeing his face. I am seeing the feeling of a heart which suffered for the past 10 years (from age 6 to 16 of sarapova) and finally when it reached the goal.
